Food Fight at the Library

The NorthEast-Millerton Library and the libraries in the Mid-Hudson Library System has been challenged to a Food Fight by the Dover Plains Library. During the month of November the library will be collecting non-perishable food for the benefit of the Millerton Food Pantry.

To encourage everyone to participate, the library will forgive overdue fines for anyone who brings in donations for the Pantry. If you have been reluctant to return to the library because of overdue fines, now is the time to take advantage of the amnesty and wipe the slate clean! At the same time you will be doing something for others less fortunate in the community.

Look for the box inside the library and drop off food items. The library is open Tuesday through Thursday 11:00 -7:00, Friday 2:00-6:00, Saturday 10:00-3:00, and Sunday 2:00-5:00. For more information call 518-789-3340.
